Palm Sunday: Expectations that Fail Us

Palm Sunday

We go through life with expectations. We expect friends, family members, and the likes to live a certain way, do certain things, and overall meet our expectations. This is also true with how we view God. We expect God to love us in a specific way, and, when he doesn’t, we become crushed by our failed expectations. In these moments it is tempting to think of God as a lair, or as someone who doesn’t love us enough to care. Is this true? Or have our expectations failed us? In this special Palm Sunday message, we will be exploring how God’s will for our life is better than any expectations we can ever place on him.

Our God Lives

In this remarkable age-old story a battle is waged for a nation between a young man and a literal giant. Though one stands physically tall the other stands taller with a confidence that few have ever known in the God of Israel. Come listen to this epic story brought to life in a new-relevant way.
